This vintage (ca. 1940s) hand-wrought, Aztec/Olmec obsidian mask necklace is perfect to wear during Dia De Los Muertos events, the celebrated festival honoring ancestors and Mexican culture. The triangular carved black obsidian pendant is the necklace’s centerpiece. (6) Highly polished marquise shaped obsidian pieces are bezel set within a rope frame. Signed by Diaz Santoyo. This necklace dates circa 1930s pre eagle marking. It is marked Mexico Silver and verified to be Sterling.
