This timeless & romantic antique heirloom quality engagement ring from the Victorian era (ca. 1880) captures the beauty & essence of that exotic and alluring era from long ago. Meticulously crafted details including both rounded & curved 10K rose gold scalloping accentuates all the diamonds in this antique heirloom quality treasure.

The center antique Rose Cut diamond is approximately .55 (6.1mm) carat, approximately SI2-3 in clarity, and approximately H-I in color. It is surrounded by a halo of (15) approximately .03 carats each (2.0mm) Rose Cut accent diamonds. Total diamond weight is approximately 1.0 carats.

Full restoration of all 10K rose gold prongs supporting all diamonds in this approximately 150 year old ring has been performed by our very skilled 2nd generation bench jeweler.

The lower half of the ring, in 18K yellow gold, was most likely soldered to the upper half sometime between the 50s-60s. This was a common occurrence during this era because the gold shanks from the Victorian era were usually thin and by the 1950s were often worn to the point they needed to be rebuilt for structural integrity.
