Cristina's Jewelry, owned and operated by the Garza family since 1986, is one of the most respected jewelry stores in San Antonio, with a reputation for selling high quality merchandise all the while providing unparalleled customer service. We carefully research each of our precious items for sale, and include, to the best of our knowledge, the most accurate description of our items for sale, including when available, historical information, provenance, and condition of item.

A written appraisal will be included with the purchase. All jewelry items will be professionally buffed, polished, and/or steam-cleaned before being shipped. Please closely examine each photograph, as they are provided to visually supplement the description of the item. We strongly recommended that you carefully and completely read the product information before purchasing.

Limited One Year Warranty With Each Item

We back each Cristina’s Jewelry item with a limited one-year warranty (details below) from the date of purchase.

Showroom Sales

You have 30 days from your purchase date to return your item for in store credit at the full purchase price. Absolutely no refunds of any kind for showroom purchases.  All returned jewelry items must be in the same condition as was sent to you.  No jewelry will be accepted for return if it is damaged, altered or worn. All sales are final after 30 days.

Internet Sales

You have 10 days from the time your package arrives to postmark your item for a full refund. Cristina’s Jewelry is not responsible for return shipping costs. All returned items must be in the same condition as was sent to you.  No item will be accepted for return if it is damaged, changed, manipulated, altered or worn.  After 10 days of receipt of item, Cristina’s will offer in-store credit only, less a 15% restocking fee. Cristina’s Jewelry is not responsible for return shipping costs. All returned items must be in the same condition as was sent to you. No item will be accepted for return if it is damaged, changed, manipulated, altered or worn.  After 30 days of receipt of item, Cristina’s will not offer in-store credit.

Domestic Shipping

All items sold in the United States will include free shipping with insurance.  

International Shipping

International shipping can sometimes be arranged. The cost to ship international varies greatly depending on many factors including customs requirements, product, location, & insurance.  EMAIL US BEFORE BUYING SO WE CAN PROVIDE INFORMATION ABOUT SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY, AS WE NEED TO ESTABLISH LOCATION & CUSTOMS REQUIREMENTS. All international transactions and shipments outside of the Continental US, and any import taxes which may be applicable are the responsibility of the buyer and ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE PURCHASE PRICE. Shipping and Insurance costs are calculated based on location & regulations and included in the final purchase total. Certain transactions will be subject to higher shipping costs for high value packages.  Certain transactions will not be able to be completed due to customs prohibitions.

USPS is our preferred shipping agency, but in some cases, FedEx, UPS, DHL & others may be used, and we insure through a third party provider. Certain shipping destinations are restricted to us because of liability limits, import, duty, and/or insurance prohibitions, so unfortunately we will not complete a transaction to these locations. We will not declare international shipments as repairs, or lower costs to minimize duties and taxes. Our insurance policy stipulates that the insurance value and the customs declaration have to be equal.

ITEMS SHIPPED TO, OR RECEIVED IN THE STATE OF TEXAS ARE SUBJECT TO .0825% STATE SALES TAX.

Our jewelry & watches are predominantly pre-owned & vintage or antique, please expect wear & patina from usage and age.

Limited 1 Year Warranty On Jewelry Items

We back each Cristina’s Jewelry item with a limited one-year warranty from the date of purchase.  All of our items are carefully examined for damage/deterioration prior to being placed for sale, & to the extent necessary, are given maintenance and service by an experienced and professional bench jeweler. Please be mindful that most of our products are vintage and preowned, often with many decades of wear and use, and should be handled with care. Customary care is always necessary. Care should be taken to avoid the item from being shaken, dropped, physically abused, or over stressed. As with a vintage automobile, regular maintenance and care is recommended and required to ensure the lasting reliability of your precious item. Our warranty may be voided by the following circumstances: damage caused by accidents, mishandling, abusive treatment modifications, attempted repairs or tampering by unauthorized third parties. Our warranty is non-transferrable. 

This limited warranty does not cover any damage due to: (a) improper transportation packaging; (b) improper storage; (c) improper use; (d) unauthorized modifications; (e) unauthorized repair; (f) normal wear and tear; or (g) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control.

With respect to any defective merchandise during the Warranty Period, we will, in our sole discretion repair or replace such merchandise (or the defective part) free of charge. We will also pay for shipping and handling fees to return the repaired or replacement merchandise to you if we elect to repair or replace the defective merchandise. This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of the merchandise. If the item, within the warranty period, can not be repaired or replaced, and the damage was not caused by any improper use or unauthorized modification, we will offer in-store credit for the full amount of the purchase.

Limited 1 Year Warranty On Vintage Watches

We back each Cristina’s Jewelry vintage timepiece with a one-year mechanical warranty from the date of purchase. To the extent necessary, all of our pieces are given maintenance and service by an experienced and professional horologist prior to sale, so they will be running within reasonable gain/loss limits and functioning as intended upon receipt. The majority of our timepieces run on manual winding or automatic movements, which are not as accurate as modern quartz movements. None of our timepieces are guaranteed water resistant. Customary care is always necessary.

Please be mindful that our watches are vintage and preowned, often with many decades of wear and use, and should be handled with care. There are many fine components in these timepieces and they will not handle abuse well. Care should be taken to avoid the watch from being shaken, dropped, physically abused, or over stressed. As with a vintage automobile, regular maintenance and care is recommended and required to ensure the lasting reliability of your timepiece. Our warranty may be voided by the following circumstances: internal or external damage caused by accidents, mishandling, abusive treatment of the watch, modifications, attempted repairs or tampering by unauthorized third parties. Legal Warranty Information


THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

IF THE MERCHANDISE YOU PURCHASE FROM CRISTINA’S COINS & JEWELRY, LLC (“CRISTINA’S COINS & JEWELRY, LLC”, “WE”, OR “US”) IS SUBJECT TO A THIRD PARTY WARRANTY, THEN THE MERCHANDISE WILL BE GOVERNED BY SUCH THIRD PARTY WARRANTY (TO THE EXTENT SUCH THIRD PARTY WARRANTY IS ASSIGNABLE BY US TO YOU) AND WILL NOT BE GOVERNED BY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. IF THE MERCHANDISE YOU PURCHASE FROM US IS NOT SUBJECT TO A THIRD PARTY WARRANTY, CRISTINA’S COINS & JEWELRY, LLC WARRANTS THAT DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD (DEFINED BELOW), THE MERCHANDISE THAT YOU PURCHASED FROM US WILL BE GUARANTEED TO BE IN FULL FUNCTIONING WORKING CONDITION.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE IS LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT, OF THE MERCHANDISE (INCLUDING THE PARTS THEREIN) OR REFUND OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE (IF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT IS NOT A POSSIBILITY) AS DESCRIBED BELOW IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT.

WHO MAY USE THIS WARRANTY?

Cristina’s Coins & Jewelry, LLC extends this limited warranty only to the consumer who originally purchased the merchandise (“you”) from Cristina’s Coins & Jewelry, LLC. It does not extend to any subsequent owner or other transferee of the merchandise.

WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY COVER?

This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of the merchandise for the Warranty Period as defined below.

WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY NOT COVER?

This limited warranty does not cover any damage due to: (a) transportation; (b) storage; (c) improper use; (d) failure to follow the merchandise instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance; (e) modifications; (f) unauthorized repair; (g) normal wear and tear; or (h) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control.

WHAT IS THE PERIOD OF COVERAGE?

If the merchandise or any portion of the merchandise that you purchase is subject to a third party warranty, Cristina’s Coins & Jewelry, LLC hereby assigns to you all of its rights and remedies under such warranty to the extent that such rights and remedies are assignable. If the merchandise or any portion of the merchandise is not subject to any other warranty as of the date of purchase by you, and subject to the terms of this Limited Warranty, Cristina’s Coins & Jewelry, LLC warrants that the merchandise shall be in full functioning, working condition, under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase by you (the “Warranty Period”). The Warranty Period is not extended if we repair or replace the merchandise. We may change the availability of this limited warranty at our discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive.

WHAT ARE YOUR REMEDIES UNDER THIS WARRANTY?

With respect to any defective merchandise during the Warranty Period, we will, in our sole discretion repair or replace such merchandise (or the defective part) free of charge. We will also pay for shipping and handling fees to return the repaired or replacement merchandise to you if we elect to repair or replace the defective merchandise.

HOW DO YOU OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE?

To obtain warranty service, you must call (210) 342-3397 or email info@cristinasjewelry.com during the Warranty Period. No warranty service will be provided after the warranty period has ended. Once we have received your phone message or email, Cristina’s Coins & Jewelry, LLC will provide you with instructions on how to send your merchandise to us for repair or replacement.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND OUR ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. OUR LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE, NOR SHALL WE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT.
